La Festa kicks off on Easter Saturday (April 19 2014) in the Griffith Community Gardens, in Coolah Street, Griffith. Gates open at 10:45am and the festival runs until 6.30pm.
La Festa is the largest multicultural event on Griffith's calendar!
Showcasing the cities rich cultural diversity, premium food and wine industry and a wealth of traditional arts and music, in 2013 the event celebrated its 12th year and everything the region and people have to offer!
There were live cooking demonstrations by Rocco of MKR's Nic and Rocco and TV chef Miguel Maestre of The Living Room, activities for the kids and a wealth of musical performances across two stages.
Festival patrons enjoyed a tasty variety of food and refreshments, and taste-test some local produce and wine in the dedicated ‘food alley’.
